Real Estate Licensing Requirements
In order to obtain a Pennsylvania Real Estate License:

You must be at least 18 years of age
•
Complete two 30-hour, 2 credit courses:
Real Estate Fundamentals
Real Estate Practice
Classroom and Online Courses are available
The cost is $200-$450 depending on the school you attend

Pass the state real estate exam - score of 75% or better must be achieved on each section
•
The exam has two sections: State and Uniform
The Uniform section consists of law, financing, valuation, brokerage and ownership
The State section consists of law, rules, regulations and practice

License application must be processed through an employing broker.
The cost ranges from $99 to $131*.
